Fazenda Recreio Ground Coffee (250g)

Recreio Farm is a rare example of a longstanding family farm that has continuously modernised their approach. They continue the tradition of providing housing to their collaborators but have invested heavily into the quality of life they provide to these 68 fully furnished homes - with amenities including a dedicated school, soccer fields, a health clinic, and even a computer lab.

Diogo Dias Teixeira de Macedo manages the farm, having learnt his craft from both his grandfather and his education as an agricultural engineer. The already ideal topography of the region has been enhanced by Diogo’s innovations, which include extensive conservation work.

With seven victories in different Cup of Excellence competitions, Diogo is proud of his farms storied heritage going as far back as the 1800s. When asked about his approach, Diogo will simply say “Respect the past and create the future. A tradition today was once an innovation”.
